Super mind or Superhuman… (or Superman)? What do you call it?
It’s not a bird, it’s not a plane & darn, it’s also not a Superman!
What makes a man capable of flying? As only birds can fly with the exception of planes that are engineered with super turbine motors that enables it to fly.

Is this possible for a normal human being to achieve? Or is it eyes playing tricks (do you think so?).Is the wait to achieve the flying powers worthwhile? How long is the practice discipline required to enable a normal man to achieve such unimaginable spellbounding feats?

Would the trouble of practicing be worthwhile for YOU IF YOU ARE ABLE TO BE ONE LIKE THIS FLYING YOGI?

Scoundrels at States Times report on JBJ’s death

Even in death, they deny him any dignity. After highlighting his losses, the unknown writer of this Straits Times article goes on to say “Yet, the old warhorse refused to believe that he was irrelevant to Singaporeans.” The first version of the article sourced from AFP did not include the line, so it can be concluded that it was added by the ST. I have emphasised it below.

Jeyaretnam dies
Straits Times

Veteran opposition politican J. B. Jeyaretnam, died early on Tuesday just days before a constitutional challenge he hoped would propel him back into parliament, his family said.

Mr Jeyaretnam, 82, died at about 1.30am from a heart attack at his son’s home in Singapore, a relative told the AFP from the family home in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Earlier, he had complained of breathing difficulty.

He was rushed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Mr Jeyaretnam, a lawyer, recently formed the Reform Party to challenge the more than 40-year rule of the People’s Action Party, which was founded by former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.

One of the rare few to speak out against the Government, he made political history in 1981 when he became the first opposition politician elected to parliament.

He was unable to contest the 2006 general election after he was made bankrupt in 2001 for failing to pay S$265,000 in defamation damages to then Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong. He was discharged from bankruptcy in May last year.

Mr Jeyaretnam was to appear in the High Court on Oct 15 to seek an order that a by-election be held for a seat that is currently vacant.

Ms G. K. Pamela, another of Jeyaretnam’s relatives, said the court challenge was related to Jeyaretnam’s desire to enter parliament again.

‘That was his wish,’ she told AFP in tears.

‘Such a good man. Why did God take him?’

Singapore Democratic Party activist Chee Siok Chin said she was shocked at the veteran opposition figure’s death.

‘There’s no doubt about it. Mr Jeyaretnam has been the icon of the opposition here and it’s a great loss,’ she said.

Mr Jeyaretnam made his final political comeback earlier this year to form the new opposition party.

He left the Workers’ Party (WP) after years at its helm and was succeeded by Mr Low Thia Khiang, who is now MP for Hougang.

When he broke the PAP’s 15-year monopoly of the Parliament in 1981, most of today’s young Singaporeans were not even born yet.

After losing his parliamentary seat in 1986 for making a false declaration of the WP accounts, he spent a month in jail and was fined S$5,000. Mr Jeyaretnam spent most of the last two decades battling outside the legislature.

Of the five General Elections since then, he has contested only once, in 1997.He finished as top loser through the bruising Cheng San GRC bout, earning a 45.2 per cent of the valid votes.

That brought him back into the House as a Non-Constituency MP, a brief tenure that ended in 2001, when he was declared a bankrupt for failing to pay after losing a defamation suit against five Indian PAP MPs, among others.

When he left his 30-year-long WP vehicle in that same year, after accusing his successor Low of not helping him clear his debts, he was effectively banished to the margins of the opposition scene here.

Yet, the old warhorse refused to believe that he was irrelevant to Singaporeans.

Mr Jeyaretnam’s niece, who gave her name only as Kavinia, said he had not been feeling well for the past three weeks.

But as recently as July, when he hosted a dinner to launch his new party, Mr Jeyaretnam still appeared strong.

Sporting his usual lamb-chop style sideburns, Mr Jeyaretnam stood before the crowd and, in typical style, spoke for almost an hour.

‘Come, walk with me, let us walk together… for peace, justice, truth… fearing no one except God,’ he had urged the gathering.

Mr Jeyaretnam is survived by two sons, Kenneth and Philip. His wife, Margaret, whom he had met when they were law students in Britain, died of breast cancer a year before he was elected to Parliament in 1981.

Veteran opposition politician and senior lawyer Mr Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam has died. He passed away in the hospital this morning apparently of a heart attack. Mr Jeyaretnam was in court arguing a case up until yesterday. After a week of cross-examining a witness, he said that he was tired and wanted to rest. He passed away this morning. Kenneth said that his father, a former secretary-general of the Workers’ Party, had complained of breathing difficulties at about 1.30am on Tuesday. He was rushed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital but doctors were unable to revive him. He died of heart failure with both his sons, Kenneth and Philip, by his side, added the news report.

Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam was the man who finally broke the ruling People’s Action Party’s (PAP) 16-year monopoly in the Singaporean Parliament in 1981.He was credited for building the Workers’ Party into the island republic’s leading opposition party. In 2001, he lost his parliamentary seat after being declared a bankrupt for failing to pay the massive damages awarded to PAP members in a series of defamation suits.A lawyer, Jeyaretnam believed the defamation suits against him were politically motivated to remove him from Parliament.

As a result, he was barred from standing in future elections, and was also unable to practise law. Later, in October 2001 he left the Workers’ Party he had led since 1971. After he was discharged as a bankrupt in 2008, he formed the Reform Party in July.

Kasih Tak Kesampaian
by Alleycats

Dari bicaramu kurasa,
penuh nada dan irama,
lalu cahaya berubah kebiruan,
tersusun secantik haluan.

madah dan puisi digubah,
hanya buatmu yang terindah,
lalu sanggup aku hamparkan,
satu cinta, satu jiwa,
sedangkan ianya berbeza,

lantas hilang ,erti sebuah keinginan,
saat aku bukan pilihan,
saat cintamu satu sandiwara,
Cuma dusta,

puas ditangisi,
bila hati dilukai,
puas kau hancurkan segala impian kasih,
kini bagai kelemasan,
karam ditengah lautan,
sementara ku dihimpit oleh berjuta penyesalan.

Puas ku mencari,
hakikat cinta yang suci,
Puas ku menanti,cerita gembira,
tapi kini, segalanya,
bagiku hanyalah…
kasih tak kesampaian….

madah dan puisi digubah,
hanya buatmu yang terindah,
lalu sanggup aku hamparkan,
satu cinta, satu jiwa,
sedangkan ianya berbeza…

Lantas hilang ,erti sebuah keinginan,
saat aku bukan pilihan,
saat cintamu satu sandiwara,
Cuma dusta,

puas ditangisi,
bila hati dilukai,
puas kau hancurkan segala impian kasih,
kini bagai kelemasan,

Puas ku mencari,

Puas ku menanti,cerita gembira,

beautiful song.. meaningful lyrics… alleycats rocks forever!!

MELAKA, Aug 20 (Bernama) — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has described the action of a blogger in calling on his blogsite followers to fly the national flag upside down as a sign of protest, as evil.

He said flying the Jalur Gemilang upside down could not be regarded as an act of mischief alone but a despicable one, what more with Malaysia about to celebrate its 51st independence anniversary.

“This is uncouth behaviour, showing no respect at all for the national flag. What is there to be angry with the Malaysian flag?” he said after officiating at the Third Scouts International Peace Jamboree, here Wednesday.

“If there are Malaysians who want to take up the idea that came from the pro-opposition blogger, they are insulting this important national symbol (flag),” he said.

Abdullah said the blogger came up with the idea to fly the national flag upside down hoping that others would follow suit, without thinking of the implications.

“It’s all in the blog…only he can do a good job. He’s simply creating trouble by coming up with dubious stories,” he said.

It was reported in cyberspace that Kelantanese blogger Sheih (Kickdefella) had on Aug 3 launched a campaign to fly the Jalur Gemilang upside down as a symbol of the people’s frustrations and as a signal of a nation in distress.

He also wrote in his blog that “it is internationally accepted that raising the flag upside down is a mark of a state in distress. It is never a mark of disrespect.”

Some bloggers and commentators quickly declared their support for the idea but many, including from the opposition, were against it as they felt the national flag deserved the utmost respect.

A blog visitor wrote that in India, flying the national flag upside down as an international symbol of distress was unacceptable, and in fact an insult to the nation.

Abdullah, meanwhile, hoped the police would act on the matter.

On the televised debate between acting Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon and Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng tonight, Abdullah said it was apt.

good nitez… im sleepy… catch u all up tomolo!!!! dear bloggers… biasa la..” truth will always taste bitter ” !!

I support the campaign! Flying an upside down flag is not disrespect!! Its a mark of protest, sign of distress.. Our country has gone backwards in so many aspects! judicary, politics, human rights and many more. We are now leftout far behind! together wift zorro-unmasked , The People”s Parliament, Kickdafella and The Dandelions , i would like to fly the flag upside down !!

reasons why i support the protest:

1. the peaceful assemblies being disrupted by the police for own political gain.

2. the use of ISA without trial!

3. the on going corruption.

4. the failure of the judiciary system.

5. the involvement of government officials in the murder case of Altantunya.

6. the freedom of constitution law is violated especially in the freedom of religion under Article 11, expl in the case of Subashini, Lina Joy, Holy Scriptures and Bibles banned from entering the country, the movie Passion of Christbeing banned in Malaysia and the demolition of holy temples.

7. the one sight media coverage

8. discrimination against the indians

9. police failure in Nurin and Sharlenee case!

10. Last but latest, 10 year old indian boy was arrested, handcuffed and brought to special integration room and was tortured to da max!!!! this happens in Ipoh 2 days back!!!

“I write messages on money.
It’s my own form of social protest.
A letter printed on paper that no one will destroy
passed indiscriminately across race, class and gender lines
and written in the blood that keeps the beast alive.
A quiet little hijacking
on the way to the check-out counter
And a federal crime.
I hope that someone will find my message one day
when they really need it.
Like I do”

“Wanita Umno chief Rafidah Aziz today announced that she would step down from the movement in the middle of next year.” ahyoo.. why next year… dammn soo long way to go.. why dont now?” She said that her deputy Shahrizat Abdul Jalil will then take over the top post and urged her members to give the latter their full support.” no difference.. both same.. err by next year, UNMO will still exist ah? fuh… Gud Bye Rafidah… Gud Bye Queen of AP!! lol

Last week I had a visit to Jitra in Kedah.I met an old friend who is a van transporter of workers to factories there. he asked me to look for jobs for the INDIAN FEMALES in Jitra…in case I know of any companies recruiting workers. I asked him why and what is the problem???? And also told him there is a company that needs female workers in Jitra itself. The answer he gave just triggered my nerves to the extend that my hands trembled with anger !!!! This particular company DOES NOT take in ANY INDIANS. !!!!!! THis company is an UMNO linked company manufacturing wire harness, cables and connectors for Perodua,Proton etc. I called the HR and asked why is this so?? The reply is this is a bumiputra company and is also the companies policy.

Then WHY do the company employ Vietnamese females, Bangladesh males, Nepaliese males??? No answer given and line was cut!!!!! This is the sort of policies that are practise by this Assholes in UMNO. No wonder …HINDRAF was born. It is really sad that such discrimination still EXIST along RACIAL lines cos of BN. And why MIC and others dont realise is?????
